Chapel – Others

This week in Chapel, we remembered how the “J” in JOY stands for Jesus, and learned the “O” is for others.

We learned how to make the letter “o” in sign language (HERE is a video that shows how) and brainstormed how we can help others.

Our school’s monthly mission is a great opportunity for your child to participate in helping others outside of their family and friends. In October, we collected snacks for our police departments. We were able to deliver to both the Chandler and the Gilbert Police Departments! Thank you all so much for your generosity! This month, we are collecting for our local food pantry. Canned vegetables, canned fruit, beans, cans of soup, macaroni and cheese, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, and gravy mix are all needed items. If you are able to donate, we have a collection box out at drop off every school morning. Having your child put the donation in the box, or even picking out the items is a great way to get them involved. -“Dear Children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth” 1 John 3:18
