Peek at the Week

Hello! This week we looked at the letter “Oo” and learned about the ocean!

Chapel

In chapel, we heard the story of a fishing boat that was unable to catch any fish for multiple days. God spoke to the fisherman and asked them to try one more day in the same spot. The fisherman weren’t sure if they should, but decided to trust God. The next day they caught so many fish! We talked about how we should listen and trust God!

“O is for Octopus”! This was such a cute project for our letter books!

Even though this octopus is sad, he is still pretty cute! Great job counting!

Using playdoh to make a beach was so fun!

PreK

Our PreK students also had fun making an octopus windsock. We practiced following multi-step instructions when we cut, write “o’s”, and curled the arms!

Working hard and using team work during centers!

Making a crayon resist underwater picture was fun!

Examining sea shells helps us practice so many skills! We can be scientists and make observations, compare and contrast, and sort!

Thanks for taking a peek at our week!
