This week, our chapel time was a continuation of creation. We reviewed how God created the animals, people, trees, grass, and flowers. We talked about how God needs our help to take care of all his amazing creations. We brainstormed ways that we can take care of animals, and nature. It was so fun to hear our student’s ideas. We talked about one special thing we can do to help EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Everything needs love. We can always give and/or show love to people, animals, plants, really anything.
Later this week, our students will put their ideas into action when we plant our preschool garden. They will help get the soil ready, plant the seeds, water, and then harvest. It is always exciting to plant our garden and watch it grow!
It was great hearing our students start to sing our chapel song, “This is the Day that the Lord has Made”. If you would like to listen to it at home, THIS is the version we use.
