Peek at the Week

All of our caterpillars changed into chrysalises this week! We are anxiously watching for them to become butterflies!

In The Classrooms

This past week was a little different in that we were doing assessments for spring conferences. Our teachers worked one on one with students to go over letters, letter sounds, numbers, counting, writing, etc. We know in our heads that our students grow academically and socially over the school year, but when you see it on paper, it is amazing. We are so blessed to be able to witness this growth year after year!

Even with the busyness of assessments, our students still had fun at centers! They sorted carrots by shape….

And had fun in the garden center, playing war, and matching numbers. Snap Cubes and Rubber Band Boards are great for exercising their imaginations and fine motor muscles!

Garden

We picked the last of our vegetables from the garden. Our students loved seeing the carrots being pulled from the ground, and they made a yummy addition to our snack!

Recess

The weather cooled down a tad this week. It made recess much more enjoyable!

Lunch Bunch

After hearing the story, “Baby Rattlesnake” told by Te Ata, our Lunch Bunchers made these fun sock snakes. Lunch Bunch is a fun addition to the day!

Have a great weekend!
