This week, we heard, and acted out the story of Baby Moses. We learned about a king who didn’t want anymore baby boys in the kingdom, so Moses was put in a basket and placed in the river. God protected Moses, and a princess found and rescued Moses from the river. Students had fun retelling the story in their classrooms!
This week in Chapel, we remembered how the “J” in JOY stands for Jesus, and learned the “O” is for others. This week in chapel, we finished hearing the story of Noah’s Ark. We learned how every animal came two by two. We had fun brainstorming what Noah and his family packed for the Ark. We couldn’t forget about what the animals would need also! We also learned that the rainbow is God’s promise to never flood the earth again.
